3rd Steering Committee meeting in Warsaw [03.11.16]
The SARUD Steering Committee gathered together for the third time on the 7th of October at the University of Life Sciences–SGGWThe meeting was devoted to the discussion of the achieved results in the frames of the project, as well as planning of further work in the elaboration of the Master´s study program in sustainable agriculture and rural development.
The national coordinators from Russia and Kazakhstan presented the study plans of SARUD master programme adjusted for each country and university. They also reported on the approaches to involve practical partners in the project. With regard to the project plan, the first cohort starts in autumn 2017 (Master´s “Agronomy” and “Economics”), therefore now one of the urgent issues is to disseminate the project to particular target groups.
The Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy reported on the progress in designing a knowledge platform and recent developments on stakeholder involvement. Ideas of elaboration and implementation of the knowledge platform in cooperation with the Civic Chamber and the Russian Ministry of Agriculture were unanimously approved by the meeting participants.
In conclusion further steps on curriculum development as well as project dissemination and implementation of the quality control plan were planned for the period until the following meeting of the Steering Committee, which is scheduled for 2017 at S.Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University (Astana).
