Round Table “Factors of Sustainable Rural Development” in the framework of the conference “Agrotourism in the Sustainable Rural Development“

Representatives of the People's Hural of the Republic of Buryatia, Government of the Republic of Buryatia, local governments, educational and scientific organizations providing services in the field of agricultural education, organizations providing services in the field of rural tourism took part in the Round Table.

The following topics were mentioned:

• Small Business as the Basis for the Sustainable Rural Development in the Republic of Buryatia,
• Institutions of Culture in the Social and Economic Development of the Municipalities in the Republic of Buruatia,
• Eco-labeling: Labeling in Rural Development,
• Development of the International Brand «Accueil Paysan»

and followed by the interactive discussion of the rotund table participants. In conclusion, observations and recommendations were developed, for which next steps are needed to be taken to improve sustainability of rural areas in the Republic of Buryatia.
